Last MLB season, we wondered if there were any super exploitable prop markets for the MLB. We found that people LOVE this bet, where it is over 0.5 runs in the first inning. Believe it or not, this bet is more 50/50 than most would think. We spent a couple of weeks building this model by editing our regular MLB model to fit only the 1st inning. We had done extensive testing throughout the early stages of last season until we finally released it to the public.

Our second year of NRFI/YRFI will take it one step further as we build on the early success. However, we caution users to use our model as just one tool in their decision-making process. It is essential to have a solid understanding of the sport and the teams involved and to use our model in combination with other variables when making betting decisions.
